The hair needs to have been growing for at least 3-4 weeks (or longer than a grain of rice) in order for it to be long enough for the wax to cling on and pull off with the root.

Exfoliate the night before or the morning of your appointment. This always helps with the pain as well as the treatment running smoothly. If you're feeling nervous, pain killers or rescue remedy will be your best friend.

  • No contact with water (showers, saunas, swimming)
  • No touching (no sex and no feeling how soft your skin is)
  • Try and wear loose clothing to let your skin breathe

Yes. It's definitely uncomfortable at first. However, the more you get it done the less it hurts. Most of the pain is made up in our heads because of the anticipation. I'll always talk you through everything to make sure you're comfortable.
