Hi everyone. I'm Louise, owner of Wax Wurks. 

I'm half English, half Filipino and grew up in Abu Dhabi until my family and I moved in 2013 and have lived in the UK ever since. I moved to Torbay in 2018 and I love it here. I have an amazing family as well as a loving husband. I love bubble tea, naps and spicy food.

I've been in the beauty industry for 8 years now and love my job so much. 

Welcome to my colourful little home studio in Paignton… a cosy, relaxed space designed to feel fun, friendly and completely judgment free. With bold colours, quirky décor and comfy vibes, it’s a place where you can feel at ease while getting pampered.

I wanted the studio to feel more like visiting a friend than a clinical salon, so expect playful touches, good chats and a laid back atmosphere alongside professional treatments. Whether you’re coming in for a wax or a lash lift, the goal is always the same helping you leave feeling confident, comfortable and looked after.
